American rapper, actor, comedian, entrepreneur, record producer, radio and television personality Nick Cannon visited the Sugar Factory Ocean Drive Friday afternoon for lunch. On television, Cannon began as a teenager on All That before going on to host The Nick Cannon Show, Wild ‘N Out, and America’s Got Talent. He acted in the films Drumline, Love Don’t Cost a Thing, and Roll Bounce. As a rapper he released his debut self-titled album in 2003 with the hit single “Gigolo”, a collaboration with singer R. Kelly. In 2007 he played the role of the fictional footballer TJ Harper in the film Goal II: Living the Dream.
Nick arrived at our Ocean Drive location with his Management team and friends and sat at the inside dining room. The group appeared to be in a festive Miami mood as they giggle and joke amongst them and the staff.
Nick who recently hosted the Grand Opening of the Sugar Factory Foxwoods alongside Supermodel Nina Agdal took the opportunity to try our new signature Goblet by fellow Superstar Rapper Drake “The Night Owl” featuring his spirit Virginia Black and loved it. Meanwile his assistant went classic with the most Istagramed drink in the USA the Lollypop Passion. For appetizer the group ordered family style Mac and Cheese Pops, Buffalo Chicken Wings and Calamari “fritti”. Being so close to the ocean in Miami nick decided to order one of our fresh seafood “Chef Specialty’s” the Seafood Mix Grilled while most of he’s management team went the classic Country Fried Chicken and Waffles Pacific Salmon and Big Cheese Monster Burger.
After Nick was spotted in the retail area with a big smile exploring our big selection of candies and fresh house made baked goodies. The American Got Talent star took home Key Lime Popsicles, Oreo Cup Cakes fresh baked Dulce de Leche doughnuts and a whole goblet full of candies like Sour Patch Kids, Gummy Funky Blob and Sharapova tennis bubble gums.
Nick was sporting an all-black combination of no sleeves t shirt, sweatpants, custom Nikes and turban.
