NBA Basketball Player James Harden stops by at Ocean Drive

American professional basketball player for the Houston Rockets of the National Basketball Association (NBA) James Harden stopped today by the Sugar Factory Ocean Drive. Harden played college basketball for Arizona State, where he was named a consensus All-American and Pac-10 Player of the Year in 2009. Harden was selected with the third overall pick in the 2009 NBA draft by the Oklahoma City Thunder. In 2012, he was named NBA Sixth Man of the Year with the Thunder and helped the team reach the NBA Finals.

James had lunch with 4 of his collage teammates from Arizona State, the group sat outside at our patio facing the world famous Ocean Drive where they chatted about sports.

For appetizer James had our fish tacos while the rest shared family style spinach artichoke dip, mac and cheese pops and a sampler platter. For entrée the 6’7 forward ordered our grilled chicken sandwich plus he shared with the table the country fried chicken and waffles, his collage teammates went light with a salmon salad, Caesar salad with chicken and pacific salmon.

James was sporting a classic all Adidas combo with jacket and sweatpants.

For dessert they decided to go “insane” with our milkshakes ordering the Sugar Daddy Cheesecake Milkshake, Giggles Snickers Milkshake and the Tie die . After, the group went to the candy shop where they went super hero style grabbing 1 of every of our DC’ comic line candy, Superman lollipops Batman sour candy, Joker chocolate bars and plenty more.
