It’s been a busy week of celebrity sightings in our stores!
Last weekend, we decked out music starlet Selena Gomez dressing room at the Mandalay Bay Hotel & Casino to celebrate the final American leg of her tour with band, Selena Gomez & The Scene. But, no party would be complete without the singing sensations world-famous beau, Justin Bieber. The teenage superstar couple loved our candy set-up, which included the signature whirly pops, chocolate bars, and popular Couture Lollipops. We also created a decadent, over-the-top, red velvet-flavored cake the 19-year-old’s favorite. Gomez personal bag of sweet treats included a Couture Lollipop, one refill pack, Candylicious lip gloss, Love Candy and Diamonds T-shirt, and Love Candy Rock and Roll tank top.
Television personality, Shar Jackson, took a spin around the store at Miracle Mile Shops inside Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino on Sunday night, accompanied by one of her close friends. The former flame of Kevin Federline, immediately took notice to the giant picture of pop sensation Britney Spears in the front window of the shop, whom Federline famously dated, and later married.
The Celebrity Rap Superstar seemed to be in great spirits as she browsed our expansive sweets selections. Jackson sampled some of the gourmet gelato flavors and fell in love with the Reese’s flavor mixed with strawberry, to create a decadent peanut butter and jelly combination. Jackson, dressed casually in black leggings, T-shirt and flat boots, purchased a Kim Kardashian-designed Couture Pop and her friend chose the Britney Spears-designed Couture Pop. The duo said thank you to the staff as they left, and with one last look, Jackson glanced back at Spears picture at the front of the store, as said with a shrug that the performer looked, kind of cute.
Gretchen Rossi and her longtime beau, Slade Smiley, of Bravo TV’s The Real Housewives of Orange County enjoyed lunch last weekend at Sugar Factory American Brasserie at Paris Las Vegas. The cute couple munched on our delicious Club Sandwich and Eggs Benedict, then gave into their sweet tooth when they sipped on the Lollipop Passion cocktail and a decadent Cookie Jar Milkshake. Rossi and Smiley took a walk around the attached flagship retail location after lunch, browsing the shop’s adorable merchandise, like the ceramic cupcake coin banks, key chains, trinket boxes and edgy Violent Lips temporary tattoos. The California beauty decided she just had to have one of our world-famous Couture Pops she even grabbed a refill pack so she could always keep her treat sweet!
Finally, Dennis Haskins, who is known for playing the lovable role of Mr. Belding in the 90s sitcom, Saved By The Bell,†dined at Sugar Factory American Brasserie, as well. Haskins enjoyed the sweet spot’s fare, such as fried macaroni and cheese pops, creamy artichoke dip and garlic and olive oil spaghetti. Everyone’s favorite principal was dining with a group of lovely ladies, who all squealed with excitement when the table was served with an extravagant platter of decadently delicious cupcakes for dessert. After dinner, Haskins took a look around the famous Sugar Factory retail store and picked up an after-dinner treat a fabulous Couture Pop. Haskins made his exit with the lovely ladies and spent the remainder of his evening upstairs at Chateau Nightclub & Gardens and next door at Gallery Nightclub inside Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino.
