KARINA SMIRNOFF, BOW WOW, KRIS JENNER, MARK BALLAS AND MORE SPEND A NIGHT AT SUGAR FACTORY IN LAS VEGAS

Sugar Factory

Sugar Factory got a little more fantastic  last weekend when Karina Smirnoff celebrated her birthday and hip hop star, Bow Wow, was seen at the sweet spot on Saturday night.

Joining Smirnoff in the celebration was Mark Ballas, fresh off of hosting the Miss America pageant at Planet Hollywood, accompanied by fellow judge and good friend, Kris Jenner at a private event in the Chocolate Lounge at Sugar Factory full of Hollywood A-listers including actress, Teri Polo, designer and socialite, Faye Resnick, and Lara Spencer from Good Morning America.

Jenner and Resnick were both dressed in black Dolce & Gabbana, Jenner in a full-length sequined gown and Resnick in sexy, form-fitting silk. Polo wore a stunning white Herve Leger gown, while Ballas showed off his off-dance floor style in a Giorgio Armani tuxedo.

Not one to make much of her birthday, Smirnoff was surprised by close friends with an elaborate birthday celebration that began with dinner at the bustling brasserie. All I want for my birthday is for Tim Tebow to dance on Dancing With The Stars, said Smirnoff. She then went on to say that as a New York native, she is a Jets fan, first. But, like many Americans, she was rooting for the Denver Broncos yesterday. Tim Tebow played so hard, said Smirnoff, and I know that so many fans all across the country are so proud of him! With the Broncos and the Jets out of contention, she is now rooting for the New York Giants.

Dinner started with a few shared items, some of Smirnoff’s favorites, including fried macaroni & cheese pops and creamy artichoke and spinach dip, and she enjoyed pan-roasted Pacific salmon with grilled asparagus for her entree. Knowing that Smirnoff is a fan of cupcakes, her friends ordered an oversized cupcake assortment that included red velvet and Oreo cookie, as well as a decadent chocolate fondue sampler complete with freshly baked Rice Crispy treats and chocolate chip cookies.

The lovely ladies made their way to Sugar Factory’s adjacent retail shop following dinner, where the group selected an assortment of sour candies and jelly beans. Smirnoff graciously stopped to hug and sign autographs for fans as she explored the celebrated sweet spot.

Also living at it at the sweetest spot on the Strip was Bow Wow, who brought down the house upstairs at Chateau Nightclub & Gardens when the prodigal artist gave a powerful performance at his official album launch party.

Dressed in a white T-shirt, a denim vest, jeans, green and white Nike tennis shoes, a Yankee hat and Ray Ban sunglasses, the star walked the red carpet and greeted excited fans.  The seasoned actor and performer at just 23 years old walked the carpet like a pro as he posed for photographers. Prior to the red carpet, Bow Wow stopped to shop at Sugar Factory where he selected a sparkly blue “Las Vegas” Couture Pop with a blue raspberry-flavored top.

Another great weekend for the books!
