 American professional boxer Antonio Tarver did a surprise visit Thursday night for dinner at the Sugar Factory Ocean Drive

  American professional boxer Antonio Tarver did a surprise visit Thursday night for dinner at the Sugar Factory Ocean Drive. Antonio is a multiple-time light heavyweight world champion, having held the WBA (Super), WBC (twice), IBF (twice) and The Ring magazine titles (twice), as well the IBO light heavyweight (three times), cruiserweight titles and his fights with Roy Jones Jr. where classics.

Tarver visited our Ocean Drive location with a friend and sat by our outside patio where they acted very friendly taking pictures with fans and engaging with the staff.

“The Magic Man” as he’s called in the Boxing world wasted no time trying our new signature Goblet by Drake “The Night Owl” featuring his own spirit Virginia Black while his friend went classic with the most insagramed drink the “Lollypop Passion”. For appetizer they shared a Spinach Artichoke dip and for entrée the champ went with one of our favorites the Country Fried Chicken and Waffles and his friend had a special request of a Fettuccini Alfredo with a grilled Lobster tail on top that our chefs delivered with pleasure.

For dessert Tarver decided to take home some pastries and some candies from our store. For the road they stacked with some our house made Angel Fruit Cake, Red Velvet Cup Cake, Piña Colada Parfait along with a variety of candy from our wide selection. His favorite where the chocolate covered almonds.

Antonio was wearing a designer pink t shirt, Gucci belt and jeans.

Before exiting the champ told the staff “I will have to train double this week after all the sweets”
