Chicago Fire’s Christian Stolte at Sugar Factory Rosemont
Sugar Factory in Rosemont welcomed a surprise celebrity guest last Friday, June 3rd 2016. Christian Stolte, from the hit show, Chicago Fire, popped in at approximately 8:00pm for a quick visit with his wife and daughter to enjoy dessert and a quick stroll around our candy shop.
Stolte and his family were dressed in very casual weekend attire, which consisted of jeans, relaxed buttoned shirts, shorts and t-shirts. He and his family had just come from O’Hare airport, returning to their hometown of Chicago. Stolte informed us that they were craving a sweet treat and decided that Sugar Factory in Rosemont was the perfect place to enjoy a famous King Kong Sundae.
The Chicago Fire actor and his family were incredibly friendly and very engaging. Stolte agreed to sign one of our large rubber ducks as a keepsake to all of us here at Sugar Factory in Rosemont. He also did us the honor of posing on our red carpet with one of our most after products; a couture pop! His daughter was also elated when I presented her with a candy paint pail, as well as the opportunity to walk through our candy store and pick out some of her favorite candies, which included Jelly Belly’s, M&Ms and chocolate covered Oreos, just to name a few!
Needless to say, Stolte and his family couldn’t have been happier when leaving that evening. He even gave us a shout out via Twitter, thanking all of us here at Sugar Factory in Rosemont for a fun, fantastic and welcoming experience!
